Handmade in the UK, the Thistle Tartan Pet Bow features a rich poly-viscose tartan in deep purple, green, and darker tones for a smart, classic look. The deeper colours make it a lovely choice for everyday walks as well as occasions where you want your dog to look a little more dressed up.

Lightweight, comfortable, and reinforced with interfacing to help it hold its shape, this handmade dog bow tie is designed for regular wear without compromising on style. Double elastic loops on the back allow it to slide securely onto your dog or cat’s collar, helping it stay neatly in place during walks and play.

Matching collar, lead, bandana and poo bag holder are available if you’d like to create a fully coordinated set.

Will the pet bow hold its shape?
Yes. Each Urban Tails pet bow is reinforced with interfacing to help it keep its shape while still feeling lightweight and comfortable for your pet to wear.

How does the pet bow attach to the collar?
All pet bows have double elastic loops on the back. The collar slides through the loops so the bow sits securely in place without twisting or slipping.

Will the pet bow fit my dog’s collar?
The elastic loops are designed to fit most standard collars. If you have a very wide or very narrow collar, feel free to get in touch before ordering and I can advise.

Can the pet bow be worn all the time?
Yes, the bows are designed to be comfortable enough for everyday wear, but like any accessory they should be checked regularly for signs of wear and tear.

Are the pet bows suitable for cats as well as dogs?
Yes, as long as your cat wears a collar, the smaller bow sizes work well for most cats.

Are the pet bows handmade?
Yes. Every bow is cut and sewn by hand in the UK in small batches, so pattern placement may vary slightly from the photos.

Can I order a different size?
If you need a size that isn’t listed, please get in touch before ordering. Because everything is handmade, I can often make small adjustments.
