Urban Tails leads are designed to offer a comfortable balance between control and freedom while walking.

Our standard lead length is approximately 120cm, which works well for most everyday walks. It keeps your dog close enough for good control while still allowing them space to move naturally.

Toy Lead (2cm width)
A lighter lead suited to smaller dogs or puppies.

Standard Lead (2.5cm width)
A stronger lead designed for medium and larger dogs.

Because each lead is handmade in small batches, alternative lengths can sometimes be made depending on fabric availability. Many fabrics can be made into leads up to approximately 2 metres in length, which some owners prefer for more relaxed countryside walks.

Because each lead is cut and sewn individually, pattern placement may vary slightly, meaning every piece is unique.

Is this lead suitable for everyday walks?
Yes. Each lead is built around a strong webbing core with reinforced stitching for everyday durability.

Will the lead twist while walking?
No. The metal clasp includes a swivel mechanism so the lead can rotate naturally as your dog moves.

Can I attach accessories to the lead?
Yes. The welded D-ring at the handle allows you to attach items such as poo bag holders or treat pouches.

Do you offer stronger clips for larger dogs?
